Q&A with James
What makes you laugh? My kids. I've got three boys.
What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given? Be sincere, once you can fake that you've got it made!
How would your best friend describe you in three words? Sincere, kind, liar.
What's your favourite movie? Too many to choose just one, but the Godfather is still up there.
Who do you call when you get good news? My wife and my mum and dad.
Which bits of your body do you like the least? How long have you got? I have noticed my ears are getting bigger!
Why didn't you ask me about...? Why I used to speak to Tony Blair at least once a week?
I'm most proud of... My kids and fulfilling my childhood dream of wanting to work on the radio.
We're buying, what will you have? A central London flat and a house overlooking the English Channel.
Worst job I ever had: Writing about pensions.
From my wardrobe you can have... Probably everything (my wife answered that one).
My party trick is... Not turning up!
Most listened to track on my iPod: My Hypnotherapy Sleep Tape. Other than that it's nearly always on shuffle.
First album you bought: A Top 40 Compilation called Parade of the Pops (showing my age here!) They always featured a scantily clad woman and included copies of songs that were in the chart. It's a wonder now how they sold them, but that was all that was on offer!
Favourite gig you've ever been to: Almost too many to mention. I loved all the big gigs at the old Wembley Stadium, Madonna, Inxs, Guns & Roses and Michael Jackson to name a few. I have great memories of Prince at Earls Court, Ian Dury at Croydon and every time I've seen Paul Weller - I only wish I'd seen The Jam.
Favourite live music venue: The O2, at last a great venue that can hold big concerts and is easy to get to on public transport.
Who would your ideal guest be? It would be wonderful to have talked to John Lennon.
What's your favourite 'wake-up and get the breakfast on' track? Neil Diamond's "Cracklin' Rosie" never fails.
What's your favourite Sunday morning track? Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony or Keane - Somewhere Only We KNow and of course Lionel Ritchie Easy.
What's your favourite 'getting ready to go out' track? Gary Byrd and the GB Experience with The Crown.
What's your karaoke track of choice? Don't Look Back in Anger by Oasis, or I've Got You Under My Skin by Frank Sinatra.
